PTFE F436 Washers

Lightning Bolt offers an enormous inventory of coated PTFE F436 TEFLON™  Washers.  One of our biggest movers, besides the blue grade 2H TEFLON™ nuts (PTFE 2H nuts) are the blue coated F-436 TEFLON™ flat washers.  These structural washers are fabricated according to ASTM F-436 and are then coated with a blue PTFE coating.

One of our standard PTFE coating is a proprietary Flurokote#1 blend that offers superior characteristics for maximizing the life of fasteners.  This PTFE coating include a tensile strength of up to 4,000psi & an operating pressure up to 100,000psi.  Unlike hot dip galvanized fasteners, the absence of oxides promise a safe and easy removal of “frozen nuts”when using Xylan coated fasteners from Lightning Bolt.  Keep in mind that we do specials, and can offer PTFE coating on any type of fastener in any color.
