Nickel-Alloy-B3. IN STOCK.
Hastelloy B3 fasteners is also referred to as Alloy B-3 fasteners and can be found under UNS N10675. This alloy exhibits extreme resistance to pure hydrobromic, sulfuric, and hydrocholoric acids. Many industries, including the chemical industry, like that this alloy is easily workable, and its ductility allows machinist to form and even weld it with ease.
The feature that makes hastelloy B3 fasteners stand out from its predecessor is that due to its lower carbon content, it maintains excellent ductility during transient exposure to intermediate temperatures (ie. Machining, heat-treating). This nickel-molybdenum alloy is commonly available in bar, and wire, sheet, and plate. Hastelloy Alloy B-3 fasteners are commonly used in vacuum furnaces, and process lines in petro/chem.
Lightning Bolt is capable of manufacturing a wide range of Alloy B3 fasteners. Being an ISO 9001:2008 certified company, we are capable of manufacturing any type of fastener.
Special alloy fasteners are our “specialty,” however standard items also within our capabilities include:
