Grade 2H Tommy Nuts

Grade 2H Tommy Nuts IN STOCK!

Tommy nuts are also available in stainless steel and PTFE / Xylan coatings.

Lightning Bolt is a domestic manufacturer of tommy bar nuts, including Grade 2H Tommy Nuts.

So what are tommy nuts used for… That’s a great question.   Realistically, we don’t use them… we just make them.

It’s been explained to me that a tommy bar is inserted into the holes drilled along the flats of the nuts, and used to tighten the nut.  It may also be convenient that only a tommy bar is needed, and not an entire set of sockets.  Thus, this could be a good fit for a diver or an oilfield worker, as both applications would be difficult to bring around a bunch of tools.  So we would like to invite anyone who can help add extra applications to this section to email us.  If we use your information (and order some tommy nuts), I will personally ship you a jar of “Old Mule”… It’s my dad’s favorite.
