Haynes HR-120 Fasteners
Lightning Bolt is capable of manufacturing a wide range of Haynes HR-120 Fasteners. Haynes HR-120 Fasteners are made of a special alloy that has excellent strength at elevated temperatures, combined with good resistance to carburizing and sulfidizing environments. Applications of Haynes Hr-120 fasteners include bar frame heat treating baskets, wire mesh furnace belts and basket liners, heat treating fixtures, waste incinerators, radiant tubes, cast link belt pins, and fluidized bed components.
This nickel-chromium-iron alloy contains large amounts of tungsten and molybdenum for strengthening at high temperatures. In addition, this alloy has great strength at temperatures up to 2000 F combined with oxidation resistance. It also has excellent resistance to creep at higher temperatures when compared with Alloys 214, 188 and 230.
It should be noted that this alloy is not hardenable by heat treatment. It may be annealed after cold work hardening. Therefore, when you project calls for Haynes HR-120 fasteners, including nuts, bolts, cap screws, washers, and studs, call Lightning Bolt.
